Create event message templates

Event Message Templates can be created in Drive under Create by choosing Message Template.

Event Message Categories

There are 5 different categories of event messages you can create in Zunos. They are;

  1. Event Invitation - The initial message sent to your attendees inviting them to the event. This message can be scheduled.
  2. Event Invitation Reminder - This message is sent to follow up attendees who have not yet registered for the event or didn't receive an invite. This message can be scheduled.
  3. Event Confirmation - The message sent out to an attendee directly after they have registered for an event, confirming that they are registered. This message is sent by default based on your attendee's actions and cannot be scheduled.
  4. Event Reminder - This message is sent to registered attendees to remind them that the event is coming up. This message can also be scheduled, we recommend sending this message 3 - 5 days out form the event.
  5. Post Event - This message is sent to user marked as attended the event. This can be scheduled on any date after the event and can contain links to complete feedback forms or thank your participants for attending.

Event Invitation In Category choose Event Invitation. In the blank template, choose one of the sample templates Event Invitation Style 1 or 2. You can add Merge Tags here which link to information about your event.

Tip: Keep your Event Invite generic and use Merge Tags to prefill information so that you can reuse this template for numerous events in the future. 

Merge Tags that you can use in the Event Invitation are: 

First Name, Last Name, Event Confirmation Manager Link,  Event Name, Event Description, Event Location  All Event Sessions, Event Registration Open Date, Event Registration Close Date.

Event Invitation Reminder

In Category, choose Event Invitation reminder.

Merge Tags that you can use in the Event Invitation Reminder are: 

First Name, Last Name, Event Confirmation Manager Link,  Event Name, Event Description, Event Location, All Event Sessions

 

Event Confirmation

In Category, choose Event Confirmation. 

Merge Tags that you can use in the Event Invitation Reminder are: 

Event Name, Event Location, Selected Event Date/Time, Add to Apple Wallet Button, QR Code, Attach iCal File

 

Event Reminder

In Category choose Event Reminder.

Merge Tags that you can use in the Event Reminder are: 

First Name, Last Name, Event Name, Event Description, Event Location, Selected Event Date/ Time QR Code, iCal Attachment

 

Post Event

In Category choose Post Event.

Merge Tags that you can use in the Post Event message are: 

First Name, Last Name, Event Name, Event Description, Selected Event Date/Time.
